Yesterday on a drive north to Sudbury on highway 69 I saw two sandhill cranes fly over my car just a few kilometres north of the junction of highway 64. On my return trip they were (I presume they were the same two) in a small field on the east side of the highway. Unfortunately I didn't get the exact distance above 64, but birders in the area might want to watch for them. I took a brief video, it can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrsbaczBu80
