A pair of sandhill cranes were browsing in the pasture fields south of Dyers Bay Road on the Northern Bruce Peninsula on the weekend. Cranes and their young have been frequently sighted in those fields in previous summers. The Dyers Bay Road runs east from Highway 6, the main route to Tobermory, just north of Miller Lake.
