Scanlon Creek C.A. held Great Blue Heron, Black-capped Chickadees, Osprey, 
Cooper's Hawk, a Black-throated Blue Warbler pair, American Redstart and 
Nashville Warblers, female Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Blue Jays and American 
Crows.
The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority owns and operates this 282 
hectare site situated 4 kilometers north of Bradford.  Large signs on Simcoe 
County Road 4 (formerly Highway 11/Yonge Street) direct traffic to the main 
gate on Concession Road 9 east of the highway.
The Holland Marsh Wildlife Management Area had two Ruffed Grouse, four Northern 
Harriers, Red-winged Blackbirds and a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
North of Bradford, east of Hwy 11, on the west side of Holland River near the 
end of Coulson Hill Rd; can be accessed at end of 10th Conc of West 
Gwillimbury; or from end of 11th conc turn left (north); then 1st road to the 
right.
