Wednesday at 10:30 am 6 Snow Geese (2 blue morph) flew over the fields off
French Hill Road just East of Ottawa.
Also Wednesday morning we observed 7 or 8 flocks of Canada Geese flying high
in the area around Petrie Island, Trim Road, Frank Kenny Road, and Navan.
We also saw 8-10 Gray Partridg
This morning (9:30 A.M.) I saw 4 Snow Geese - two adults and two juvenile white
phase at the corner of West Hunt Club Rd. and Cedarview Rd. These birds are
right beside the road and the site is easily accessible to Ottawa birders.
Directions: from downtown Ottawa take 417 to 416 exit on West Hun
