Snowy Owl seen at 2 pm on the ground in a snowy farmfield, some 50 metres off 
the road.  West side Jane St., midway between Woodchoppers Lane and Edward 
Avenue at yellow marker in ditch.   (Jane St. is unsigned here north of 
Woodchopers, and is offset about 100 metres west from Jane St. south.)  From 
Hwy. 400, take Hwy. 9 west to South Canal Bank Road on north side.  Turn right, 
travelling northeast back under Hwy. 400 to Wist Road, left/north to 
Woodchoppers Lane, right/east to Jane St. (unmarked), then left north halfway 
to Edward. Ave.). 

Also, 2 kestrels, 50 snow buntings, 10 horned larks (prairie race) on Edward. 
Ave.   150 horned larks on last leg of Ravenshoe Road west of Leslie St (#12 
road).
