Ron Fleming’s positive post on Holland Marsh Snowy Owls this past Sunday (he
saw 9) was likely the end for this year. The fields are all a huge black muck
pudding, no place for a Snowy to feel at home. Though I suspected to find none,
I still carefully did the entire area East of Hwy 400, North of Hwy 9, West of
Dufferin, and South of the Holland River. As expected, I saw none.
