Hi Ont Birders; The weather event Allan Wormington refers to in his e-mail has also brought spring ducks to Kincardine. Surprised to find at the harbor today 11 species of waterfowl including 4 Ringneck Ducks a pair of Gadwall and a single Pintail. An A. Coot and Redhead have been trying to over winter here and may well make it . The harbor has only been completely frozen for two days so far this winter. A small flock of White-winged Crossbills have been daily visitors to some spruce trees at the golf course for 6 days now. Cheers James Turland
Directions; Kincardine is on the shore of lake Huron where highways 9 and 21 meet. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
