I just found a young male Summer Tanager - it is flycatching from a tree along
the east side of the tip at Point Pelee, about 100-200 m north of the actual
tip (near where a seasonal trail comes out to the beach).
Good birding,

We just found a female Summer Tanager to compliment Henrique's male bird,
on Chinquapin Oak Trail just past the intersection with Tilden's Trail.
Take the Tilden's Trail to where it intersects with Chinquapin near the
area with the benches and boardwalk. Walk down Chinquapin about 100 metres.
Adult male bird at the southwest end of the cactus display field flying around
in cedars. Catching the odd wasp.

Sorry, just to clarify, the bird was in cactus field. Not cactus display field.
Park at white pine. Cross the street to chinquapin trail. Then turn right at
the intersection.
Apologies

We just found a male Summer Tanager just a few metres north of the Tip tram
stop, visible from the road. It is moving around so look for the people!
