I just found a young male Summer Tanager - it is flycatching from a tree along
the east side of the tip at Point Pelee, about 100-200 m north of the actual
tip (near where a seasonal trail comes out to the beach).
Good birding,

We just found a female Summer Tanager to compliment Henrique's male bird,
on Chinquapin Oak Trail just past the intersection with Tilden's Trail.
Take the Tilden's Trail to where it intersects with Chinquapin near the
area with the benches and boardwalk. Walk down Chinquapin about 100 metres.

Sorry, just to clarify, the bird was in cactus field. Not cactus display field.
Park at white pine. Cross the street to chinquapin trail. Then turn right at
the intersection.
Apologies

Posting for Marcie Jacklin:
A first-year male Summer Tanager was spotted at 11:30 AM along the Cactus Field
footpath, which is the new side-trail in the recently cleared area along
Chinquapin Oak Trail.
Good birding,
Justin
