Hi everyone. Just had the Wood Stork at the tip of Point Pelee. Saw at 1125 am.
Flew north from the tip and then west toward the marsh.

Hello Everyone
I just wanted to let you know that I had a report of a Wood Stork this
afternoon in the park. A visitor from Texas observed the bird from the
Marsh Boardwalk tower - it flew out towards Lake Pond, toward the southern
edge of that pond.
Keep your eyes open if you're in the
Due to auto-correct, my previous emails got a little screwed up, but I think
the point got across. Today, the juvenile Wood Stork was being seen in flight
from about 10:30 until 2:15. I saw it around 11:20, when it flew 20-25 feet off
the ground right over a group of ~5 of us on the Tip.
There have been rumours that the Wood Story has come back from Pelee Island and
is being seen at the Top and West Beach. Good Luck!
Good birding,

The juvenile Wood Storm was seen flying around the Too, West Beach, and the VC
parking lot from 11:20 to 12:30. It flew both quite low and quite high.
I have been told it was last seen off the Tip heading to Pelee Island. It may
or may not come back. There are many out looking.
Point Pelee is
As well as on the West Beach, we have also just seen the Wood Stork flying
around the tip. Look up, you're bound to see it somewhere.

Hi Jeremy
Congrats on 317 anything over 300 requires commitment. However I am really
writing to point out the obvious. Words like 'fucking' are just not acceptable
on a public forum like Ontbirds. Please think of 3500 readers of this list.
Many do not appreciate crude behaviour.

Hello,
Andrew Don texted me to say the bird is flying over west side just where the
tram starts it's turnaround. It's now going now along west beach and he
suggests it might be better by visitor center at west beach.
Good birding,
Isabel Apkarian
The Wood Stork is sitting on the rocks beside the trail to The Tip right now,
I'm not fucking kidding!! I drove back from Algonquin last night in record time
and it flew away as I passed the Boardwalk.

Hello All,
Rick Mayos just called me to give an update on the wood stork. Unfortunately,
it flew at 8:45PM tonight. It flew in a north easterly direction, so perhaps it
will be found in the pelee marsh or towards Wheatly.
I figured I would update in case people were planning to go and see it.
The Wood Stork continues in the same location, per previous posts, on the west
beach, south of the solar panel display.
Cheers,
Lill and Ken

Hello All
I don't have a lot of details yet, but wanted to get word that there is a Wood
Stork currently being seen at Point Pelee. It is at the Tip along the west
side, where the trail leads south from the parking lot. Staff just sent me a
pic to confirm what it was. Not sure who found it
