Folks: This evening at 7:45pm, in spite of the heavy snow cover, at least 3 WOODCOCKS were calling and displaying. They were at the SouthWest corner of Ausable Line and 83 Highway (Dashwood Rd). This is two concessions west of Exeter in southern Huron County. Please be aware that the land owner on the southwest corner is very adamant about No Trespassing, so please look and listen from the roadway. Good (spring) Birding...
