On Friday, June 5, 3 of us saw a Monarch Butterfly in Carden; I believe it
was in the lower reaches of Wylie Rd.
On Prospect Rd. 2 VIRGINIA RAILS strode across the road, they being 1km.
apart.
The LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE appeared on the east side of Wylie Rd., then flying
across to its favourite dead tree about 150m. west of bluebird box 10.
I had a wonderful view of a singing SEDGE WREN atop a cattail.
