A white winged dove was seen on Monday, heard on Tuesday then disappeared
until this afternoon.
It is being seen along Lakeshore Rd north of the visitor centre.
It is covering a stretch of about 20 cottages.
Park at the visitor centre and walk along Lakeshore listening for the bird.

The dove was NOT seen today as far as I know.
There were some birders from Michigan who were at the visitor centre thru
the morning till mid afternoon.
I was there from 3.45 until 5.30.
I will try to get over again tomorrow.

I finally saw the dove at 4.10pm .
It was sitting under a feeder, eating sunflower seeds, in the garden at the
visitor centre.

A birder stopped at the cottage to let me know the dove was seen at 3.45pm.
It sat on top of the feeder then it moved to the tree just outside the
garden.
The woodcock was seen in flight between the visitor centre and the lake.

The Dove was seen at 9.45 am and is currently sitting in the low branches
of a small tree just outside the garden fence at the visitor centre.
It is snowing steadily, visibility is about 1/4 mile, no wind in the park
but I don't know what the 401 is like.

The dove is still at the garden and was actively feeding under the
sunflower feeder at 9.50 this morning.
Approach the fence clowly as it may be sitting just the other side of the
fene.

The dove was seen this morning at about 9 am.
It flew up into the trees and has not been seen since.
We have have had some snow squalls in the area.

4.30 pm the dove is still roosting in a tree at the edge of the garden at
the visitor centre.

a close look.

As at 10.20 am the white winged dove is still at the visitor centre garden.

Jim Burke just came to the house to tell us there is a white winged dove
sitting on a feeder at the visitor centre.
It was still there at 9.30am
