Along the trail off of Bowesville Road in Gloucester, I heard a BLACK-BILLED
CUCKOO calling from a small grove of trees on the left. Unfortunately I
couldn't locate it visually, which is typical with cuckoos, but it called for
several minutes continuously.

Also present along the trail at various locations were SONG, SAVANNAH, and
GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS, both male and female BOBOLINKS, and singles of LEAST
FLYCATCHER, RED-EYED VIREO and a WOOD THRUSH calling near where the trail meets
High Road.

Good birding!

Pat
