Dan Salisbury called to ask me to pass on, that he and John Keenleyside (who
originally spotted them) just saw two Black-necked Stilts at Townsend Sewage
Lagoons.

Doug McRae and Bruce DiLabio just called to say that the Black-necked Stilts
found earlier today at the Townsend lagoons were there up until 11:30 this
morning when they got up and flew off to the east. They watched them until
they were out of sight. The Eared Grebe was still present.

My father Mike and I observed the Black-necked Stilts reported at Townsend
Sewage Lagoons at about 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon. The birds were present
in the first cell visible on the path up from the gate, and loitered in the
area for about 20 minutes affording good views. After that, they
