Last night at about 7pm about 30-40 Common Nighthawks were hawking for insects in Oakville near the 16 Mile Creek. They were all about 50-250 feet above the 16th fairway at Glen Abbey golf club. It was an incredible display of acrobatic flying and the birds were there for 20 minutes while I observed them until I had to leave.
