This  evening  (31  August)seemed to be still good for watching Common
  Nighthawk  migration;  from  7:00  to  8:15  pm, we tallied 139 Common
  Nighthawks near the former Keele Valley Landfill in Vaughan,York.

  The  birds  could be seen flying south over the ridge of woods east of
  Differin  Street just north of Major Mackenzie Drive, while a few came
  low  and flew over our heads. Best location was on Alex Black Street @
  Sir Benson Drive, a new subdivision.

  Directions: From Major Mackenzie go north along Dufferin Street to Sir
  Benson  Drive  which  is  directly opposite  the  entrance driveway of
  Eagle's  Nest Golf Course; follow Sir Benson to Alex Black Street, the
  woods can be seen toward the east.
