Birders,
A drake Eurasion Wigeon continues to be seen in the cell closest to the
lake. The bird was found late yesterday by Barry Cherriere, and flew in
again whilst we were there at 1pm today, along with 3 American Wigeon.
Directions: Take 50 Road exit, off the Q.E.W. in Grimsby. Go north to
the lake. Turn right on the Service Road, take the next road on the
left, go past the park entrance, and the rifle range. Park on the left
at the steel gate next to the old pump house. Proceed in thru the hole
in the steel gate. Please obey the No Trespassing signs on the national
defence property which is the last cell closest to the lake.
