Greetings ONTBirders: I'm sorry this report is late - I've been having computer problems and didn't get a chance until this morning. Last night, from around 5:45-7:20pm, my wife and I came across several migrants passing through the Mer Bleue Bog. Near the traditional Lincoln's sparrow breeding area, we found two WINTER WRENS, two SWAINSON'S THRUSHES, five YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, and approximately ten RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS. A little further down the boardwalk, we may have flushed a RUFFED GROUSE, but we did not actually see it, only heard fluttered that came from a large, very well-hidden bird. SWAMP SPARROWS were very vocal after sunset. As always, good birding! Pat _________________________________________________________________
