Hi All

I just got home from a nice visit with the Detroit Audubon Crew who are
camping at the park this weekend. They told me they had a great day birding
in the park, with many warbler species (N. Parula, Cape May, Black-throated
Blue - all in Tilden's), lots of thrushes and wren and also found a Lark
Sparrow Saturday on the West Beach. The bird was moving with a flock of
around 150 Chipping Sparrows in the scrubby habitat at the edge of the
beach.

You could hear migrants flying over tonight, so I'm sure that there will be
more new birds in the park tomorrow.

Enjoy this wonderful holiday weekend and good birding to everyone.
