Hi folks,

I stopped by Penn Lake in Marathon today (June 12, 2008 at 3:05pm) and observed
and photographed a Marbled Godwit, feeding on the edge of a sandy island, in
the middle of the southern portion of the lake. This bird flew twice when
spooked by a running dog, allowing nice views of its cinnamon underwings. It
was last seen at 3:30pm.

Penn Lake is located just off of Penn Lake Rd., on the east side of Marathon,
Ontario. Marathon is located about 220km east of Thunderbay, ON.
