An pre-dusk walk Thursday evening along the East Bank of 16 Mile
Creek south of Upper Middle was accented by the sounds of Nighthawks.
At least 4 were seen catching insects mid-air. One was seen doing
acrobatic dives.
Directions- trailhead and Parking for the trail is on Old Upper
Middle Road. Parking available at the corner of Old Upper Middle and
McCraney. Upper Middle, south on Oxford Ave. West on Old Upper
Middle, Lot is beside the pumping station overlooking Glen Abbey Golf
Course
