Hi Everyone Spent the morning birding along the Ottawa River from Deschenes Rapids to Shirley's Bay. There was an good movement of Canada Geese with over 200+ flocks counted in 2 hour heading south plus 2 adult Peregrines. Off Dick Bell Park I observed 1 Red-throated Loon, 17 male Black

Hi Everyone Did a quick check along the Ottawa River this morning off Dick Bell Park and Andrew Haydon Park. I observed 4 large flocks of Black Scoters totaling 600+ (mainly males) and 2 Red-throated Loons. The scoters were very restless flying around, breaking up into smaller flocks,

Hi Everyone Yesterday,November 2,2004, I birded along the Ottawa River between Shirley's Bay and Dick Bell Park. There was a noticeable increase in Common Goldeneye with 1000+, 2 flocks of Black Scoters totaling 360+ and a flock of 7 Red-throated Loons.
