Hello Ontbirders

Today, January 12th, birded various sites east and south of Ottawa. In the
fields around Ste-Rose there were at least two Snowy Owls.
The Tufted Titmouse was still present at Forest Park on Manitou Road. It fed
regularly at the feeders between #103 and #105. Along Clarence-Cambridge
Boundry Road at the east end of Larose Forest there was a flock of 35+
Evening Grosbeaks. At the west end we observed one Northern Shrike, 8 Pine
Grosbeaks and one Evening Grosbeak. The Trail Road Landfill site just south
of Ottawa, had 1,000+ gulls including 22 Iceland, 30+ Glaucous and 450+
Great Black-backed Gulls. If you require additional information please
a-mail me privately.

                                              Good birding, Bruce
