Spent the day at Niagara looking in vain for the Ross's Gull. About 50 or so 
birders on the Canadian side and an additional 50 or so on the American side as 
of about 2 pm were unsuccessful in locating this bird. (Cell phone contact was 
made with birders on the American side.). That's not to say it isn't there. 
Just that it wasn't there for me. Hopefully it will be re-found

On the positive sides, there was a female Harlequin Duck very close to shore on 
the east side of the old Hydro (?) building.above the falls associating with a 
half dozen Hooded Mergansers. Also an adult Little Gull and a few Lesser 
Black-backed Gulls were in evidence at the lip of the falls.
