Hi Folks

This morning at around 11:35AM I had a single SANDHILL CRANE flying across
Hwy 77 about 2 km south of the town of Comber, in Essex County. The bird was
flying slowly west towards Windsor.

Around the house other signs of spring include AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES starting
to moult into alternate/breeding plumage, and loads of RED-WINGED
BLACKBIRDS, COMMON GRACKLES AND BROWN-HEADED COWBIRDS at the feeders. We
also have an EASTERN SCREECH OWL using a box just twenty feet from the
kitchen window almost every day for three weeks now.

Cheers, Tom
