Hello Owl Prowlers,
What a show on Halls Rd. this morning. I came in at the tail end becausw I
got stuck on the 401 behing 6 snow plows which were stalled and holding up
traffic.
There were still 2 GGO's perched and swooping over the meadow hunting for
breakfast. I saw 1 GGO in the subdivision on Whitby Shores GRWY & Anchorage
Ave. I got some beautiful shots of him. At one point an American Crow was
hassling him and the moon was still shining in the western sky. It
literally took my breath away.
Yesterday I sighted some 376 Snow Buntings on the Lakeshore Rd. east of
Riley Rd., south east of Newcastle.
Directions: Take Halls Rd. off Victoria and the entrance to the subdivision
closest to the marsh and drive along Whitby Shores GRWY till you come to
Anchorage Ave. and look to the right in a clearing often perched on a young
tree.
