1000+ tundra swans on the Onion fields south of 20
GBH now and in the Harbor all winter
Killdeer all over the county and Snow Bunting numbers are dropping fast.

Hello everyone: 40+ Turkey Vultures were observed from our back deck today
(October 5) between 1:30 and 1:45 flying west ward over the Town of
Brighton.
Quite impresssive. The Fork-tailled Flycatcher at Prince Edward Point Bird
Observatory was absolutley magnificent.

My first posting. Was travelling Northbound on old Highway 50 between Hwy 9 and
89 on Saturday afternoon(Oct 30) about 2.30 PM.Weather overcast and light rain
falling. Wife was driving so I had a chance to take in some scenery and

Six or seven Turkey Vultures flew over my back yard in Stratford this morning.
They might have come from the landfill site. I thought I saw one there
yesterday but wasn't sure.

At 12:40 pm - at Fletcher Creek area in Brampton, saw a large group of 24
Turkey vultures migrating SW.
Conditions were windy but the birds were finding some thermals to soar.

At least 4 Turkey Vultures were seen flying over or near the intersection of
Colborne St and Wayne Gretzky Parkway at 10am this morning. My guess is
that they are finding food at the nearby dump (where they like to hang out
in the summer)

At 7 PM this evening, we counted 39 Turkey Vultures roosted in the edge of the
woods.
The birds are roosted in trees that are literally only yards away from the
shoulder of Hwy #22, right at the curve in the road at the west edge of the
village of Warwick.

The highlight of the day at Beamer Hawkwatch occurred in the first 10 minutes.
At 9:10, five turkey vultures flew along Ridge Road heading west. The only
