Hi everyone,

A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was seen (and photographed) this morning (Saturday
September 29) at Andrew Haydon Park in Ottawa's west end. The cuckoo was first
seen at around 9:50 AM in a tree near the bandshell. The cuckoo then moved to
the trees surrounding the western pond where it remained for approximately 5
minutes. Following that the cuckoo flew off towards to the trees surrounding
the parking lot at the west end of the park. Unfortunately I was not able to
relocate the cuckoo after it flew into the trees surrounding the parking lot.
