Hey all,

Today while doing vegetation surveys (generally looking down not up) with my
coworker, Kevin Dance we observed a kettle of roughly 1200 broad-winged hawks
moving south over Blenheim Road at Barrie's Lake.  We first noticed them
streaming in from the north at 11:55, and proceeded to watch them for about 15
minutes kettle just south of Blenheim before continuing southward.  Leaving our
jobsite, later we observed another kettle of about 300 individuals crossing
Blenheim Rd about 2km west of the first sighting.

Blenheim Road Runs west out of Galt (Cambridge) into North Dumfries township
where it becomes Roseville Road.  Barrie's Lake is roughly 4km east of highway
401.
