Weather was sunny and +3C I spotted him as I drove up in the car and as I snuck back around the side of the house he flew off. I watched him fly away hoping he would land in the stand of trees in the creek across the road , but alas he flew over and beyond. I told my husband I should have gone into the house thru the side porch and crawled toward the window from the inside and taken a picture thru the window....but I didn't expect him to be so skittish. I notified all the other people in town feeding birds but haven't heard anythin yet.( our town population is <80) This is the second report of a EGFI in less than 18 months and about one hour distance from me.
