May 12 (late afternoon). Despite a gloomy and windy afternoon at High Park, I did manage to be treated to a wonderful warbler fallout at the southwest corner of the park. A Blue-Winged Warbler foraged less than five feet from me along the roadside, by the stairs leading down to Grenadier Pond.
