Hi Folks,

The male European Goldfinch that I first reported on October 26th, 2003 in
Sault Ste. Marie, has not left the area and has been coming to our finch
feeder each day for the past week (39 Pleasant Drive, SSM). It was last seen
on November 2, 2003. It does not have any bands or clips.

We have had other records of EUGO in the Sault in the past but I know very
little about the occurence of these birds in Ontario/Michigan. Any thoughts
about where it may have come from? Vagrant/Escape
