Birders,

This afternoon the was an adult LBBG flying along the edge of the ice south of Wheatley Harbour heading towards Point Pelee.

Common Grackle: at the Hillman marsh canoe launch Sunday morning. The 18 or so Red-winged Blackbirds at the north east end of Hillman marsh are wintering birds.

My 22 month old daughter and wife(non-birder) were driving into Leamington when my wife spotted a "Hawk type" bird. She then told my daughter that it was a Turkey Vulture!... My daughter looked out the window and replied... no mama, Bal' E..gal ! As my wife drove closer she was dumbfounded as it was a Bald Eagle! That a girl!

Good Birding,

Dean Ware
