This morning FLYCATCHERS outnumbered WARBLERS in species and individuals. There were 3 species of VIREOS at Fish Point. At Henderson Road there were 42 DUNLIN, 31 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS, 9 SEMI-PALMATED PLOVERS, 3 LEAST SANDPIPERS, 1 RUDDY TURNSTONE, 1 KILLDEER.
Late reports for yesterday (May 23): a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT at Fish Point and a GREAT EGRET carrying a large snake over Lake Henry, Lighthouse Point. ___________________________________________________________ Pelee Island Bird Observatory (PIBO) continues its daily banding and census operation.
