Hello Fellow Birders, This morning at 1005 hours on the corner of Highways # 401 & 115/35 I sighted 2 Kettles of 25 Turkey Vultures. 4 Purple Finches have been feeding at the feeder, 1 Red Breasted Nuthatch & 2 White Breasted Nuthatches, many Juncos, Black Capped Chickadees, White Crowned & White Throated Sparrows, 6 Blue Jays, 2 Northern Cardinals, Downy Woodpeckers.
On the lake I sighted 6 Red Throated Loons, 25 Buffleheads off the Bluffs on the Lakeshore Rd. south of Newcastle. Directions: # 440 exit from Highway # 401 down Mill St. S.
