Depends on your market, but in general, I raise my ram lambs to 90 lb. From that, buyers usually get 40 lb of meat cut and wrapped. To get a lamb to 90 lb takes me about 8 months. Last week I butchered a 2.5-year-old ram for personal use. He weighed 130 live and I got 65 lb of meat. I haven't t
