You're referring to the Sheepmat from Nasco ($143). It is like a 60-in
long, deep sponge. The animals walk across it 2 or 3 times a day. You don't
have to dispose of any toxic bath solution using this mat. Their weight
squishes the solution up into all parts of the hoof. I used a concentrated

mechanical, but it's always enough to cause a worry. I would say Ernie
will be fine - he probably just broke off a little too much hoof wall.
