I'd like to add a 'feature' to my home version (0.65) of blackbox, but
I'm non-compis-C++ I'm afraid.
When the 'exit' menu item is taken in Rootmenu.cc, I would like to
scan through the list of windows looking for certain titles (the only
identification that I know of) and, either

Blackbox is targeted at being more of a light weight, minimal feature,
fast WM. Features like what you have suggest may be more suited to
something like Fluxbox (http://fluxbox.sourceforge.net/) or even Openbox
(http://openbox.org/)

Anarky,
I'd suggest just using xscreensaver... run it in the background when you
start up blackbox (in your .xinitrc, .xsession, or however your distro
does it) and then it can be configured by running:
xscreensaver-command -prefs
This lets you pick blanking and locking times (as well as other c

I would love it if blackbox showed what was currently loading and
that it was loading via an animated mouse cursor. My computer isn't
flash fast ... and at times I was wondering if something was loading.
I'd think it would be nice if the mouse did some animation when things
were loading ...

Hello!
I've been looking around the blackbox sources looking for a way to make the
1-2 pixel toolbar-border that is displayed when the toolbar is set to
"Auto hide", become a 0 pixel border, but to no success.
Could someone please point me to the correct file/linenumber or maybe
supply a patch tha

Recently, I clean-installed RH9 and want to make Blackbox one
of my WM options on gdm -- version 0.65. Most of the install looks
clean, but it exited with the following error messages. Any insights
