I'd like to integrate blackbox into my graphical login. Does anybody already
do it when using a RH7.1 box with kdm as login manager?
Any suggestion will be most appreciated.

You can start gkrellm with the -w switch to make it appear in the slit.

In licq, just enable the dock icon in the options dialog..
well, actually, i think you probably could.
there's probably a way to change windows' default
shell from "explorer.exe" to something else...
(but i don't know for certain)
or, perhaps you could just make a backup copy of
explorer.exe, and write a simple C++ program named
"explorer.exe" that will
