Blackbox crashes every month or so on a workspace change with the wheel
mouse patch. This is blackbox 0.62.1 and it just happened to me
yesterday (with a signal 11). I'm pretty sure it's not hardware related
although that's usually what signal 11's are. Also, I used to have a
very simple program t
I tried to compile blackbox 0.62.1 for hpux and I had some problems. The
configure script went fine (we have gcc and c++) but right when it started to
compile it gave the following errors:

Just wondering if the 'crash on change to workspace 2' bug has been fixed with
the new release. I've experienced that a few times now and I was wondering if
it's worth it to update. The only reason I haven't so far is that I always use

I wanted to place my vote for leaving the toolbar as compiled in by default. I
indirectly use it all of the time. What I mean by this is that when I have a
window maximized but not covering the toolbar it leaves me room on either side
of the toolbar to click on the screen and get the root menu. If
My vote is against adopting wmsetbg. I tried to use it with aterm using
transparecy and shading. Every time I moved or resized the window it took
literally two seconds before it fixes the "transparency." It doesn't work well
with aterm if you have transparency and shading. It worked instantly with
Along with the confirmation exit issue I have another question. Is it possible to set
up a way to exit using the keyboard? Is there any command in bbkeys that will do this
or any other way of going about it? Just thought I would ask

I went back to the regular "nv" driver that comes with X. (Using XFree86
4.1.0). Still catch sig 11's.
Just thought you might be interested in knowing that my signal 11
crashes weren't a blackbox specific problem. It appears to be hardware,
it's happening in other window managers too. I tried testing the memory

if it's blackbox.

One other question. Blackbox has been crashing on me with signal elevens
fairly often recently. Any idea on what that is? Thanks
Hey everyone, just one quick question. Is there currently any
development goin on in blackbox or have the authors dropped it. I think
it's awesome but it could be a little bit more stable. It seems like a
lot of people use it (including myself) but I don't see any signs of
life on the home page. L
