i have gv 3.5.8 and GNU Ghostscript 7.05, no problems... maybe your
ghostview is just _really_ old

OK,
i have figured out that bbsload is actually the offending program when
it comes to the size of the slit... it doesnt ever seem to want to be
smaller than 20 pixels no matter how many 'bars' i select... it just
resizes to 20 pixels.
The only option which even mentions height is this;

hmm, must be either bbpager or bbsload then... i can change the size of
bbpager no problem, does anyone know how to resize the height of
bbsload? it msut be the offender... i only have one cpuUser.gauge

hi there,
i have setup blackbox pretty much the way intended on first seeing it,
its a great WM! but i can never seem to get the slit to go smaller than
20 pixels in order to get it to be the same size as the toolbar (btw
does anyone know the default height of the toolbar? i guess 18). Is

i want the pager to have the desktops horizonatlly beside each other,
not vertically above each other

but choosing horizontal that way only realligns the other windows
relative to the slit... i want the slit itself to be horizontal

i do use a script, but you can't run X programs from it because the
script is obviously being invoked from a terminal i have tried, all
you get is an error

does && not mean 'proceed on success'? if you want 2 aterm windows just
use
aterm & aterm
