Role: The SharePoint onshore lead will oversee and participate in the development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence (BI), utilizing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0), SharePoint Designer 2007 and Visual Studio 2008/.NET 3.5. The SharePoint Lead will work closely with multiple groups such as Infrastructure, QA, Corporate Communications, and various internal groups as the SharePoint environment expands. Responsibilities: • Participate in the design and delivery of Enterprise Content Management Systems, Intranets, and Portals using SharePoint 2007. • Participate in multiple system integration and migration projects. • Candidate will also be expected to assist in developing the strategy for optimal use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization. • Perform typical administrative activities such as site creation, user issue resolution and Production support. • Planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation of SharePoint Server 2007 solutions. • Use SharePoint Designer; Implement master pages, views, templates and other custom components. • Develop custom web parts for SharePoint using Visual Studio for ASP.Net/C# development. Requirements: • 5+ years development experience with Microsoft.NET technologies required. • 3+ years experience with business information systems integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting, corporate MIS or software development environment required. • 3+ year’s expert level knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2003/2007/2010. • 3+ years experience as a technical lead on enterprise initiatives required. • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer credentials required. • B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or Electrical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline required. • Demonstrated ability to lead offshore teams in various project work streams required. • Strong competency with Microsoft Visual Studio, C# and SQL Server required. • Knowledge must include web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. • Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required. • Must be well versed in Agile methodologies Personal skills: Possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, have strong oral and written communication and people skills, team player, strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task.
