After the discussion to of which mutt series to use, I think it's only
fair that we open up the topic a little bit. I think that there are
exceptions to the rule that we always use a released version marked as
stable. Some projects don't have release schedules that match this
line of thinking. So,

Randy just reverted the update to pciutils-2.2.4 because it can
potentially break HAL. The reason is that when zlib support is built
into pciutils, it will prefer using pci.ids.gz in both the library and
update script. However, HAL simply tries to open pci.ids and will bomb
if it doesn't find it. I

I was using my laptop this last week when I was away from home and
noticed that DRI was not working. Usually, I just use the proprietary
Nvidia driver, but I am using the nv driver on a stable BLFS 6.2 system
here.
