In current BLFS we don't do much to configure xorg, but when we do
we seem to have a mixture of /etc/X11/xorg.conf (drivers) and
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d (testing and configuration).
For some years I've been using ${XORG_PREFIX}/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/
which is what I though was the right way to go [
