When the BLFS 6.0 asks to run firefox in the /usr/bin, there is a failure:

I had posted this earlier also. Trying again for any helpful clues:
After running 'configure' on 'kdelibs-3.4.2' I was advised advised to
load install mDNSResponder. I did likewise. Since then, I am getting
continued repitition of the following error on all terminals before or after
login.
