the configure scripts of some old sources, do not suport new host type

use the latest version first.

This dependency is not stated in any readme file - everyone seems to get

The dependency is fortune. It is necessary to display xfce4-tips - small

To make it work I had to install fortune-mod-1.99.1

I've just built my third LFS system (second in a couple of months due to
some unfortunate hardware failures).
For the second time I used the "How to build a LFS 6.1 system using the LFS
live CD as your host" hint and the "More Control and Package Management
using Package Users (v1.2)" hint.

Just finished the build (had to update to nss-3.11.3, too)
OK somewhere I messed up. I rebuilt the kernel as I found there were
a few networking items that I hadn't configured. Now I get "invalid
host type" when building a package and config.sub checks the "build
system type".
Where do I fix this? I haven't any idea.

Hi,
I followed the instructions for installing Xorg-7.1 in the

Now, when I run "Xorg - configure", it fails with a "Fatal server error:

Can anybody help me?

OK, I tried removing what was before :: and got a different error on

Assuming that's exactly what you typed, you typoed the --sysconfdir option.
