I manage to compile and install Open Office.
Here is the cleanup history of all the commands.
Basically what I had to install (it is then a deviation from BLFS) is
Curl as a dependencie.
In my case I didn't had to updates the icons and desktop links since I
come from OO 2.0.4

Ain't it funny that I couldn't compile 2.0.3 or 2.0.4 for the life of
me? Now I tried again with 2.
