downgrading to xserver-1.6.5

Hi all! So, I have downgraded to xorg-server-1.6.5. It's now working in 16 bit color depth. Maybe someone's interested in how to do it... I had xorg-7.5 installed as it is in the blfs svn book. I had to downgrade to these packages: (got help from here http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-832985.
