Has something happened to GNOME in BLFS?.
It's missing quite a few packages, like gnome-session. Without that,
you're not getting very far.
There's no mention of it anywhere.

to upgrade my whole glibc first, so that's a nogo, atm.
The funny thing is that the keyboard works fine with these symlinks.
X.Org X Server 1.7.3 and Udev-130.

I've used LFS for 6 years and making packages before putting them in
the system is the proper way to go and should be in the default
instructions.
The packages I make are just tarballs with the files going into the
system, and is very primitive, but it's better than to just install
